He is the Chair of the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Oversight Committee at the ACR. Currently he is a Professor of Medicine and Division Chief of Rheumatology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He serves as the ARA president.

He completed his residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore/Johns Hopkins University and a fellowship in Rheumatology at Wayne State University/Henry Ford. He is currently in private practice in Las Vegas. He serves as the ARA vice president.

- He received his MD from Wayne State Medical School. He completed his residency at Henry Ford Health System and a fellowship in Rheumatology at The University of Texas Southwestern in Rheumatology. He currently works as a Senior staff physician at Henry Ford Health, he is involved in a busy clinical practice along with supervising fellows, he is involved in clinical research/trials. He serves as the ARA Treasurer/Secretary.
